Susan Scarola, DCH Auto Group’s CEO and President, to Receive WomenCertified® Award

(Press Release) – Feb 10, 2010 – [Hollywood FL] (February 10, 2010) – WomenCertified® today announced that it is honoring Susan Scarola, CEO and President of the DCH Auto Group, and Bill Wereha, President of Coast to Coast Dealer Services, Inc., with the second annual WomenCertified Vision Award for advocating and driving change to better meet the needs of women consumers in the automotive industry.

According to WomenCertified, the Vision Award is given to leaders across various industries that are influential in raising the standards of service in their industry and are actively involved in promoting initiatives that accomplish this important goal of advocacy for women consumers.

Passi will present the award to the co-recipients at the 2010 NADA Convention and Expo in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday, February 14 at 11AM.The ceremony will be held at the NADA University Studio Booth #1801 in the West C Lobby.

WomenCertified founder Delia Passi stated, “We chose to honor Susan and Bill because they are strong forces in the movement to make the automotive industry a more women and family friendly environment for both consumers and employees. Both have taken extraordinary steps in the past year to embrace WomenCertified and to really champion this commitment to excellence in their own businesses and beyond.”

Scarola is the CEO and President of DCH Auto Group, an award-winning company that owns and operates 27 auto dealerships in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Southern California from Oxnard to San Diego. DCH Auto Group is highly invested in principles for success that value customers and employees. Scarola’s commitment to developing dealership staff led to her decision that more than 1,000 DCH should participate in WomenCertified in 2009 – making DCH currently the largest WomenCertified business in the U.S.

Wereha is the Founder and President of Coast To Coast Dealer Services, Inc., an aftermarket industry leader for over 20 years, Canada’s first WomenCertified company and the sole provider of WomenCertified to the automotive industry in Canada. Wereha was the driving force behind the WomenCertified movement’s expansion in Canada throughout the past year, and he continues to encourage women friendly practices and programs both at Coast to Coast and its clients.

This is WomenCertified’s second annual Vision Award announcement. Automotive industry recipients in 2009 were Annette Sykora, former chairperson of the NADA, and John Lyboldt, the Vice President of Dealership Operations at the NADA. Also honored in 2009 were financial services recipients Susan Sweetser, First Vice President of MassMutual and Burvin Pugh, President of Distribution, MassMutual.
